It's not talked about much anymore, but Darwin's first book, "Origin of the Species" was subtitled: "By Means of Natural Selection or the Preservation of Favored Races in the Struggle for Life". These ideas were so embraced by Karl Marx (Darwin and Karl Marx knew each other and corresponded) that Marx wanted to dedicate one of his books to him. Marx combined his theory with Darwin's to form the foundation of his ideology - survival of the fittest or the duty of the strong to trample the weak. It was Adolph Hitler's use of Marxian theory as part of his own philosophy that eventually resulted in the murder of millions of Jews during World War II.

Since Charles Darwin wrote "Origin of the Species" in 1859, The Theory of Evolution has been embraced by many as a scientifically proven fact. Our children are being taught this theory as if it were an established reality. As parents and Christians it's important to help our children understand the truth of God's word to defuse what they are being taught in school and in the media. Acceptance of evolution as a well proven, logically thought out idea, has contributed to the erosion of belief in biblical creation. As we take a closer look we discover that it's really a religious belief or doctrine and not a scientifically proven fact.

Darwin was not a scientist, but a graduate from a Christian seminary, who eventually accepted and became very involved in Freemasonry. Somewhere between seminary and his first book "Origin of the Species," Darwin lost his passion for ministry and started a debate that still rages today (it's rumored that he regretted the controversy created by his writings later in his life ). Darwin's search for an alternative to creation seems to fits right into the center of the Freemasonry belief system, which doesn't believe in the God of the bible. They instead believe in "the Architect of the Universe," and it's an architect that starts with materials that already exist.

When you look at the major building blocks of this theory it is surprising that it has gained such wide spread acceptance. The Big Bang Theory of evolution is built on the foundation that all of the design and complexity of our world and universe can be traced back to one explosion that occurred between 9 and 18 billion years ago. Eventually order was created out of disorder. Atoms and molecules came together to form heaven bodies, and the theory goes on. How many of us have ever observed this is our present world? If something explodes; a bomb, building or car…is there any chance that any of these things will ever evolve into anything at all? If we observed the fragments of these shattered items for the next fifty years - they would never evolve into anything. The laws of physics embrace the idea that every system allowed to proceed on its own goes from order to disorder and as such doesn't support evolutionary theory.

An examination of the Genesis creation account reveals how God created the universe in which we live in a very organized and methodical way. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth as the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit moved over the waters. Moses then tells of how God creates light making it distinct from darkness. He creates the sun and the moon to rule over the day and the night. He separates the water from the dry land and then creates seed producing plants and fruit producing trees. His final act of creation was to create man. Creation was organized and methodical, not a result of random processes. Most of us have discovered through some hardship that those things we have not planned, or have not planned well, often produce-undesired results. God is a God of order.

We get a tiny glimpse into just how much planning and finely orchestrated detail went into the creation of man by studying cellular biology. The magnificent construction of our own bodies would suggest intellence of indescribable ability. The complexities of just one cell of the human body, is enough to boggle the mind! All of the coded information needed for the development of our entire body originated from a single DNA molecule, located in one cell.

It's kind of interesting how fast we forget the full truth of history. How often have you heard of Darwin's book in recent history along with its subtitle? Our children are being taught evolution with Darwin as it "Father". But the complete truth has been hidden. It just the devil doing what he does best "deceiving."

Evolution, its not a scientifically sound idea, its more like one of the world's religions that require faith for belief. As a Christian, you can make a difference in your family and in the lives of your loved ones by making sure they know the truth.
