Purification
Purification begins in the mind

This is the first step towards true beauty. The focus is placed on the inner beauty of a woman because that’s where real loveliness begins. Cleansing the body of contaminants from the foods consumed; the pollutants in the environment and the stress of everyday life is the very foundation of magnificence. Gem (graphic of a ruby) - Increase your water intake. It helps to flush out all of the toxins and wastes that contaminate the body. It hydrates your skin and will give your complexion a healthy glow.

  • Visit Whole Foods Market or any other health food stores to purchase a “Polycarbonate Bottle.” These are approved as refillable.
  • Purified or distilled water is preferred over spring water.
  • If you’re having trouble with drinking the recommended eight 8 oz. glasses daily, begin by toting a large cup or bottle of water with you everywhere you go and start off by taking sips. Before long your body will begin to crave it, and this is one craving you can give in to without guilt.

Esther 2:12, describes the arduous task of purification. This process took 12 months to be completed. Esther spent 6 of those months being refined with oil of myrrh; the other 6 months were spent using perfumes. In modern times these methods are called Aromatherapy. Thanks to the research of the French cosmetic chemist Rene-Maurice Gattefosse, we have extensive evidence of the healing properties of essential oils.

Purification begins in the mind. Filter out negative thoughts, and replace them with things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely and of a good report (Phil. 4:8). Transform a bad self image by reminding yourself that you are fearfully and wonderfully made. You are the apple of God’s eye. Change your focus by setting your affections on God and not on the temporal things of this world. Inner beauty is far more valuable than what the eyes can see.

Remember man looks on the outward appearance but God looks at the heart.
